I checked Google every day for "zbuffer32 blog" and now
Taaadaaam!
I've found the first link to me and in addition an interesting blog site.

The old boozer

As I promised here is the first picture. Modeling is almost done, i need to reduce polycount a bit - mostly on the legs. Next job is the UV map then he will get a nice skeleton. :)

You may notice i use LightWave3D for modeling.

Speed of managed programs

I found this: Microbenchmarking C++, C#, and Java

Maybe the managed code has a future in game development. I think so.

I've found a lot of argument in forums about C++ vs C# or C++ vs Java. It's hard to decide which one is better. I just love managed stuff. If C# and XNA make 90% of the speed of C++ and DirectX, that's enough because my goal is writing a cool-looking game and not Doom4. :)

Title

I've decided the name of the game.
(big breath)

Brutal Teeny Mutant Mega Zombie Warrior Killing Machine Extra!

Just a joke.

I bespeak the main actor is a wizard, an old alcoholic wizard who just passed the wizard exam and got the Certification of Wizardry. I'll upload some pictures of the model as soon as i finish it.

Purpose

It's a development blog about my hobby projects. The first one is a very simple game as a little practice. I develop it using C# and XNA. It was a hard decision to make but finally it' decided.

Some pictures from my previous projects:

jJolly - the Java version of Jolly Roger. Originally i programmed it using C++ and DX 9.0 but later i rewrote the whole engine in Java. It was a nice experiment thanks to LWJGL (Light Weight Java Game Library).
Unfortunately my 3d artist only concentrated on an other project so i discontinued it. :(

The Theory Of Everything - MMORPG.
A good idea, a good team and horrible management.
It's not a fully dead project, one person still working. I hope you can make it Alivemoon.
